Manipur | Man accused of kidnap & murder of 8-year old Manipuri girl given capital punishment by armed group

Thokchom Nando Singh alias KCP Nando alias Mangang, a dreaded terrorist who escaped from jail while undergoing trail into the sensational kidnapping & murder for the ransom of the 8-year old girl-child, Lungnila Elizabeth, was awarded capital punishment by a section of the United National Liberation Front, the oldest militant group of Manipur, currently reeling under internal crisis.

The Pambei section of the UNLF said in a press release along with photographs that it tried Nando and eliminated him for his inhuman and barbaric crime against the innocent 8-year old girl who happened to be the daughter of Francis Ngajokpa, the then GAD minister of Manipur.  

The UNLF termed it as their gift for the year 2021 to all the womenfolk of the State. The class-3  girl of Little Flower School of Imphal was whisked away from her school gate on 3rd November 2003 and after spending  9 days in captivity, the decomposed body of the girl was found bundled inside a gunny bag on 12th November 2003.

The armed group further said a special task force, specially constituted for apprehending Nando, succeeded in nabbing the main accused in the kidnap and murder of Lungnila on 1st March and eliminated him after the due trial the next day in the evening.
