Lakhipur: Assam Minister Kaushik Rai on Sunday took part in a padayatra organised at Pailapool Gaon Panchayat under the Lakhipur Assembly constituency, as part of the campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections.

The event witnessed a significant political development, with over a hundred people from the constituency joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party leaders. BJP leader Bijendra Prasad Singh and other party members were also present during the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Rai expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response from the public. He said the growing support reflects people’s strong trust in development, peace and progress under the BJP.
He further expressed confidence that with the blessings and support of the people, the BJP will once again form the government in Lakhipur as well as in Assam.
