Silchar: The Cachar district administration on Thursday clarified that there is no shortage of domestic LPG cylinders in the district and assured that supply and distribution are continuing normally.

In an official press statement, the administration said that all LPG agencies in the district currently have adequate stock of domestic cylinders. It added that the distribution system is functioning smoothly and there is no disruption in supply.

The administration urged residents not to believe rumours regarding a shortage of LPG cylinders and requested people not to crowd gas agencies unnecessarily.

Officials also appealed to the public to rely only on verified and official information and to cooperate with the administration in maintaining normal conditions across the district.
