Silchar: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kaushik Rai on Monday filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections, expressing confidence and gratitude towards the people of the Lakhipur constituency.
Speaking after submitting his nomination to the Returning Officer in Silchar, Rai said he was entering the electoral fray with the blessings of Maa Durga and the continued goodwill, love, and support of the people of Lakhipur.
He highlighted the development initiatives undertaken over the past five years, stating that the journey began with the collective support of the people and now needs to be taken forward with renewed strength.

He concluded his remarks with slogans of “Victory to Mother India” and support for the Bharatiya Janata Party.
